T-ball coach: make three copies of the blank chart (below) before using. Use the chart, top to bottom, left to right, as follows:

1. T-ball team batting order:

Player will return to line up behind backstop after running the bases. Batting order is now the position order for the next inning.

2. Order of position play by inning:

• Player #1 plays 3rd base, game 1, inning 1
  
• Player #2 plays plays 3rd base, game 1, inning 2
  
• Player #3 plays 3rd base, game 1, inning 3

The scorekeeper will enter a number in the chart as each player is dispatched to their positions.

This chart is designed for 15 players and 10 positions (two center fielders). If all players are not present, skip the appropriate number of bench positions.

The following chart was carefully constructed to be sure all players play all positions. Also, at this age group, some positions are very active and some are not. This position list is:

passive position - 3rd base
active position - pitcher
and then bench

passive position - left field
active position - catcher
and then bench etc…
